Physical Education department is an essential ingredient of good education because it is concerned with that aspect of the needs of the students which are necessary for his/her all round development through games, reports and physical exercises. As the department of physical education is also essential for the development of a balanced personality with better qualities of courage, tolerance, hard-work and team spirit.

Tutorial form an integral part of the teaching method in the department of Political Science.
Apart from being involved in under graduate teaching the faculty of the department has been actively engaged in wide ranging research activities covering a large number of national and regional topics/ subjects.
Since its inception the department is doing great job of putting efforts to achieve the academic goals of the students.

Affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University Shimla, the college is imparting education to youths in various disciplines at undergraduate level. The admission in all disciplines in the first year of bachelor degree courses is offered as per HPU norms.
